I'm Italian, sorry if I can't speak your beatiful language.
I'd like to know if you know the efficiency level of the Philips AD 5060/M4 and of the Philips AD 5061/M4.
Please could you help me?
Thank you in advance anda best regards from Italy!
Ciao!

Hi!
Very interesting, thank you for your reply, Tweety!Tweety schreef: ↑za 29 apr 2023, 17:19Hi,
I am reading the datasheet AD 5061M4 as following:
1) For 96 dB average sound pressure 3,2V is needed.
2) recalculating to standard 2,83V will provide approximately 94-95 dB sound pressure
3) 2,83V with 4 Ohm impedance is resulting in 2W, in contrast 8 Ohm, like f.e. AD5061M8
4) 2 V with 4 Ohm impedance is providing 1W and approx. 91-92 dB sound pressure.
I don't know you'll consider that as normal medium, but I believe you could consider as pretty medium-high efficiency, because most units will just reach 90 dB/W. And this speaker is a little ahead.
Also due 4 Ohm impedance the sensitivy is increased even a little higher compared to 8 Ohm units, due low voltage is needed.
Best regards,
Tweety
