That's a realy good quality set of affordable drivers. Why the STW's?Spilferderber schreef:here are my drivers which I'm planning to use for my Utopia clone:
SUB Peerless 830867 SLS15
BAS Peerless 830668 SLS10
MID Seas MCA15RCY H1262 (2 pcs.)
TW ScanSpeak D2905/9500000
STW Audax TW010F1 (2pcs.)
Maybe it's a good idea to make a separate showcase topic out of it? (klick the "nieuw onderwerp" button.

yes, I'm propably one the very first owners of the new SLS15 (the aren't even on the Tymphany page yet).
beautiful driver, indeed..
the retailer told me that the Peerless company had big problems producing the driver (not enough production capacities for demands )
I'll show you the progress within this thread and I promiss to put some more infos in english during this week
by the way: the application of supertweeter is optinal. the audax driver was recognized as a very good one for this job, so I've decided to put a try. if they won't be good, there'll be no problem (very chep)

But you've got them... Where..? How much were they? And: are there more?
You can better make your own thread I guess. Keeps things better appart.I'll show you the progress within this thread and I promiss to put some more infos in english during this week

big fat correction (now mine): the Peerless 830867 is very very similar to the previous, but discontinued SLS 15" model (on the market for several years, but discontinued), but not the same. this is a brand new series, and the sale began in this month. the price is around 130€/pc. trust me, I've done a lot of research trying to get it..
