Dat idee heb ik toch ook wel. En mijn ervaring is toch meestal dat men ook na die 5 jaar nog erg behulpzaam is als men de mogelijkheden nog heeft.

Buiten de garantieperiode wordt ook reparatieservice verleend totdat het apparaat 5 jaar oud is. Daarna wordt waarschijnlijk verwacht dat je je tot een reparatiebedrijf wendt, of tot de producent van het eindproduct met de unit.

In het geval van zelfbouw ben je dus zelf het laatste aanspreekpunt, en natuurlijk ook degene die je moet aanspreken op eventuele gebreken in de uiteindelijke implementatie (of in een zelf te schrijven handleiding ) van het eindproduct. Hypex leverde enkel een halffabrikaat, aldus dikgedrukt in de handleiding, maar ook in dit topic al aangegeven.

Ja inderdaad, in de praktijk zijn ze vaak veel behulpzamer geweest dan dit. Aan UCD's werden ook wel eens kosteloos reparaties uitgevoerd na meer dan 5 jaar, waar notabene de eigenaar zelf per ongeluk iets sloopte. De disclaimer lijkt vooral juridische noodzaak te zijn, zoals eigenlijk in dit topic ook weer blijkt.

Hi, I have had two broken AS2.100D.

In both cases a channel died, the first got fixed by Hypex, but now it is no longer possible, so my speakers cannot be used.

The broken channel has DC on the output, so if the same thing happened to the initiator, it is no surprise his tweeters blew too.

In any case I am on the market to buy a functioning AS2.100D in case a reader has one spare
