Great place for the volume control. If you're doing DSP anyways,any quality of analog volume control will only degrade sound.

This conversation can continue Q3-Q4. Until people have their hands on these plates there's nothing much more we can talk about. Unless you want opinions on the MP Ncore amp modules themselves. I can say they are very very good.

The clock on that prototype looks an awful lot like Mr Rutgers has something to do with it

BTW over 20 top brands in consumer Home audio are adopting Ravenna as we speak. So we will see how long it's overkill for home audio soon.

Is everyone still using CD players in The Netherlands? In Canada most people are using software like Roon, and using computers like Intel NUC's.
