Tweeter choice

I'm getting ready to design my new speaker, but I'm undecided about the choice of tweeter

I'm very attracted by:
- SB SATORI TW29DN /RN
- Scan-Speak D7100
- Scan-Speak D6600

Has anyone used them?....can you tell me the timbre differences?, in general...

I would like to design a 4-way starting from the choice of the tweeter....it's all in progress...

I realize that it is not easy but could you please give me some general info on their timbre and technical characteristics since you have heard them all?, you would be very kind.

They are all fabric domes with quality beyond question, i think the real choice is up to taste, my pick would be the Satori for it's absolute bang for the buck. But if you are focussed on cost no object performance, you might pick the 7100, they all can sound like a million bucks integrated in a good system, but you can do it wrong and no € 300 tweeter will save you. Are you familiar with Troels Gravesens work btw? I think he has a few designs using these drivers...

Start with not focusing on tweeters (unless you’re a bat). Good midrange is of more importance, one’s ears are most sensitive around 1kHz. And if you’re serious about a 4-way, 20mm domes come to mind…

Have a look here and I hope you understand my remark about 20mm tweeters. This quite experienced designer uses several of your selection more than once in 2-way systems.
Frankly, I’d pick one of his designs (you’ll have to contact him) or other well-documented ones available.
